Hello all!!!
So, our youth group is wanting to go laser tagging some time this winter. We did it two years ago for a lock-in at the Edge in Belleville and had a blast. We took a bus there in the middle of the night and we had the whole place to ourselves. Unlimited laser tag til like 3 in the morning! I think we are planning for some time during the kid’s 2 week break. If any of your youth groups would like to go with us, you are totally invited. THe more, the merrier! Just let me know. We may have to rent a bus like we did last time, unless your group has a bus and would like to share. We can do the lock-in at 1st Congregational!
Let me know if any of you are interested…asap… so I can get things up and running.

Hello Brothers in Christ!
I wanted to officially invite you and your youth groups to an Ecumenical Food Scavenger Hunt/Contest to benefit the food pantry. It is scheduled for August 8th.
We will start in the Fellowship Hall of First Congregational for some rules and the splitting of teams. We will have two teams: one for the west side of poplar and one for the east side of poplar. Teams will be determined by drawing of names. Each team will have two cars to be their gophers (driven by adults). Kids will be walking the rest of the time.
Start time: 4pm
Food Collection time: 4pm-6:30pm
Food send off to Pantry to weigh: 6:30pm
Meal served and Awards: 6:45pm-7:30pm
This should be an awesome time of felowship and service for our community. Please prayerfuly consider involving your youth group. We want as many kids to participate as possible.
